Job Title: Medical Workforce Officer
Job Type: Fixed Term Appointment (6 months) with possibility of extension and/or permanency
Position Profile:
The Medical Workforce Officer provides a confidential, customer-focused administrative service for the Medical Services portfolio.
* Recruitment and onboarding processes to enable doctors to commence in the region,
* Rostering and pay processes to enable doctors to work in the region and be paid,
* Offboarding processes to enable doctors to depart from the region.
Eligibility to Apply:
To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).

WA Health engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility. WA Health policies require applicants to undertake criminal records screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment process.
