District Medical Officer – Procedural – Anaesthetics - $466,419 AUD/£248,000 GBP p.a. In this role you will be involved in providing comprehensive medical and community health services to the Health Campus and surrounding remote communities.This role is a combined General Practitioners (Rural Generalist) Emergency Medicine/ Anaesthetics role.The successful applicant must have developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work within a team of dedicated medical officers who work to provide exceptional care to the Region. Candidates must be eligible for fellowship from the College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) or the Royal Australian College of General Practice (FRACGP).Additionally, candidates must hold a formal post graduate qualification in Anaesthetics (JCCA) and equivalent extensive experience. The successful candidate will be rostered to clinical duties in the emergency department and/or GP clinics at each hospital as well as being rostered on call as required, with an annualised on-call allowance payable for the on-call commitment shared with colleagues.
