Southwest Healthcare's Portland Adult Mental Health and Wellbeing Service is a specialist mental health service for adults aged between 18-65 years old experiencing major mental illness.
We are a multidisciplinary and integrated mental health response team providing crisis assessment and intervention, as well as short- and long-term evidence based, recovery focused interventions for individuals with severe and/or enduring mental illness and their families within the broader Portland Community catchment area.
Working in a job share capacity with our Current Senior Clinician you will be responsible for assisting the Team Leader and Psychiatrist in leading and coordinating the multi-disciplinary team to provide high quality integrated mental health services.
The role requires you to use your clinical skills to provide: * Evidence based assessment.
* Direct service provision to groups and individuals.
* Primary and Secondary Consultation to mental health and wellbeing sector partners * Community Development and Education as appropriate to the role.
* Line management supervision, secondary consult to staff, overseeing site operations when Team Leader is unavailable or on leave.
Position overview * Part-time (40 hours per fortnight), Ongoing position * Portland Campus * Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 4, Occupational Therapist Grade 3, Social Worker Grade 3, Psychologist Grade 3 This position may be eligible for an incentive payment for rent, childcare, relocation costs and more, as part of the new workforce and incentive grants program administered by Rural Agency Workforce Victoria (RWAV) up to $20,000.

Registered Nurse.
Registered nurse with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a registered nurse, have at least 5 years' experience in the provision of mental health services and completed of either Post Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing or Masters of Mental Health Nursing (or other relevant Post Graduate Course) required; or completion of a specialist undergraduate Mental Health Nursing program Occupational Therapist.
Occupational Therapist with a degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency and at least 7 years' experience in the provision of mental health services Social Worker.
Social Worker with a degree in Social Work & eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers, and at least 7 years' experience in the provision of mental health services Psychologist.
Psychologist with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Psychologist and at least 5 years' experience in the provision of mental health services.
