Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Payroll Implementation Consultant to lead and support the implementation of SAP Payroll solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Define client requirements, perform gap analysis, and document/configure solutions based on findings.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create actionable plans for both functional and technical project streams.
* Provide best practice solutions aligned with customer business needs and rules.
* Implement products and services within project timelines.
* Maintain clear communication with clients throughout the implementation lifecycle (written, verbal, and in-person).
* Identify and address risks, issues, and opportunities, ensuring resource allocation for effective resolutions.
* Apply project methodology (planning, follow-up, reporting, quality assurance).
* Track progress against criteria and implement corrective actions as necessary.
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, demonstrating professionalism.
* Stay up to date on industry technology and legislation, acting as a subject matter expert.
* Foster positive working relationships within teams, ensuring knowledge-sharing and cooperation.
* Record relevant issues and activities in management systems, tracking client hours.
* Achieve team and individual KPIs and manage personal development.
* Capture and address risks in the Implementation Risk and Issues register, escalating when needed.
* Conduct post-implementation reviews to ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements:
* Strong experience in stakeholder management and client-facing roles within an implementation or service delivery setting.
* Deep understanding of payroll and related applications is mandatory.
* Proven experience with project management methodologies and successful implementations.
* Hands-on experience in system build and configuration.
* Skilled in identifying client risks and proposing effective resolutions.
* Expertise in data mapping, conversion, and ensuring data integrity.
* Advanced knowledge of interface technologies for payroll systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
* Proficiency in Microsoft applications (MS Project, Word, Excel).
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure.
Qualifications:
* 5 plus years of experience working in a complex operational/implementation/service delivery role.
* Strong knowledge of Payroll systems.
* Demonstrated experience in an Implementation role.
* Demonstrated Project Management capabilities, including project planning and resource scheduling.
* Advanced capabilities across the MS Office suite, including MS Project and Visio.
* Bachelor's degree in human resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
