Overview SOSi is seeking Signals Analyst Trainer to support expatriate work in Alice Springs, Northern Territory, Australia. In this role you will use state-of-the-art computer hardware and software to search for, identify, and monitor non-communications signals in a dense and dynamic environment. You will develop, implement and maintain detailed technical and operational training programs for complex electronic, electromechanical, and/or mechanical systems, subsystems, or individual pieces of equipment using accepted ISD particles.Essential Job Duties Maintain complete set of mission management training requirements.Maintain a training plan and implementation process.Coordinate training resources and personnel availability to ensure operations Watch Crew personnel are adequately trained on new tools, systems, capabilities, and interface before they become operational.Maintain training and certification plans, procedures, and materials for the training and evaluation of government operations Watch Crew personnel.Perform research work with design engineers, reliability and quality assurance engineers and others in preparation of training materials, aids, mock-ups or other material.Develop and instruct operational training course for electronic equipment operator personnel and other site organizations.Implement technology-based training into site training methodology, where feasible within existing network engineering constraints.Develop and maintain web-based training courses.Assist in oversight and quality control for the site Job Qualification Standard (JQS) system.Evaluate student progress and submit evaluation reports as required.Ensure instructor cadres continue to improve their skills as instructors and developers.Interface with customer representatives and act as SME for education and training issues facing the site as a whole.Perform other training related duties as necessary.Additional Duties/Tasks include: Develop new course material.Provide training to US/Australian personnel.Conduct training via VTC for other US/AUS sites.Update/maintain training packages and databases.Perform job task analysis.JQS quality control for discovery.Maintain discovery training web and wiki pages.Minimum Requirements Must have a current TS/SCI security clearance.Enrollment into the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.Must possess a current Polygraph and be able to maintain that polygraph.Willing and able to undergo and pass a medical (Physical) exam and psychological evaluation (for employee and each authorized dependent).Ability to obtain a host nation employment visa.Be familiar with Signal / Communication Analysis.Must have a thorough background in analysis of detected and pre-detected data in both analog and digital formats.Must be capable of working under general direction.Must be able to frequently use and apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques.Be able to make sound and technically accurate decisions.Must be able to express yourself clearly while giving instruction to customer operators.Must be able to work either independently or in a team environment.Must be willing and able to work a rotating shift.Must be willing to relocate to remote overseas location in Alice Springs, Northern Territory, Australia for an initial tour of two years.Preferred Qualifications Telemetry Interceptor Analyst Course, 450 Collection and Processing Course, and/or 451 Communication Signals Analysis.Knowledge and use of Combined Back End Tool (CBET) tool suites.Work Environment Work Schedule: Day position, 5 days a week, 8 hours a day, with potential flex time requirement; some travel required.Benefits package will include: Fixed Overseas Housing Allowance: Fixed weekly rate based on government direction.Goods and Services Allowance: Based on currency exchange rates and local economic survey dependent on single or with eligible dependents in accordance with salary level.Home Leave: one company paid trip every 12 month period for employee and authorized dependents from assignment location to home of record.Education (Schools) Allowance: employees with eligible dependents are eligible for reimbursement for school costs up to the DOD allowance for location.Property Management or Long Term Storage: Will be reimbursed as actual costs up to an approved limit for property management or long term storage required at home location.Inoculations and Passports: reimbursed for reasonable and actual expenses incurred when obtaining required physical examinations, inoculations, passports, and/or documents related to the assignment.Work Permit/Visa: Coordinated by international human resources authorized vendor if necessary for employee and eligible dependents.Expatriation/Repatriation En route Travel: Economy airfare from home of record to international assignment location and return. Company will reimburse reasonable and actual costs for travel, food, and lodging for the employee and authorized dependents when traveling to and returning from assignment location.Expatriation/Repatriation Interim Living: You will receive 100% per diem for the first 30 days upon arrival to the international assignment and last thirty days upon the end of assignment to be used plus auto rental.Expatriation Destination / Repatriation Departure Services: Company authorizes destination services when expatriating/repatriating.Expatriation / Repatriation Shipment: A 20 ft. container is authorized for transportation of household goods.
