Our Opportunity
Work Location: Fortescue’s Iron Bridge project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal people.
Roster: 8D6R FIFO ex Perth or DIDO ex Port Hedland
The Services Coordinator reports to the OPF Superintendent Mechanical Maintenance and will be responsible for the supervision of the service providers to the OPF, along with inspecting, repairing, maintaining and improving conveyor systems to safely deliver world class availability and reliability.
This will also include but not be limited to managing plant maintenance functions in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner, enabling the Iron Bridge Operation to meet the present and future needs of operational requirements while managing the plant maintenance activities with a continuous improvement and reliability philosophy.
Key Responsibilities
Track, review, plan and coordinate the safe execution of mechanical risks and priorities while working in with other major discipline owners to deliver reliable and efficient plant
Heavy input to prioritise, budget and forecast major mechanical improvement and replacement works
Scope challenging shutdown works
Identify and implement improvement initiatives to ensure a safe place of work
Identify and execute scope bundled works
Assisting leadership team with continual improvement and development opportunities
Qualifications and Experience
Leadership experience in a Supervisor position or higher
Mechanical Fitter trade (or B.Eng Mechanical Engineer)
Strong work management background, heavily focused in fixed plant maintenance and shutdowns
Understanding of control systems and SCADA software
Experienced in managing crane and scaffolding teams
Skilled in auditing safety compliance and vendor compliance performance
