Line Worker Joining our team means you'll be part of something that really matters.
As our Line Worker, you will be based in Carnarvon, and responsible for the primary function to carry out capital, maintenance, and customer funded projects safely, efficiently, and professionally, in three-phased overhead and underground, low and high voltage networks based throughout the Gascoyne / Midwest regions.
You will also be required to participation on an On-Call Fault Response Roster.
This is a permanent, full-time position.
Your role will include: • Completion of data and commissioning sheets (paper and electronic) • Operating plant and equipment in accordance with qualifications and standards • Actively contributing to a personal and corporate safe working environment • Completing work in accordance with relevant instructions and standards You will have: • Certificate III Electricity Supply Industry (ESI) – Distribution Powerline qualification or Australian Linesman Trade qualification equivalent • Drivers Licence HR minimum (prepared to transfer to a WA Heavy Vehicle Licence) • High Risk Licences: EWP/WP, Forklift (FL), Dogman (DG), Rigging (RB) • Current First Aid/Senior First Aid • Current Pole Top rescue, EWP Rescue, EWP Emergency Decent Device/Escape • Low Voltage & High Voltage Switching qualifications and experience • Additionally, any other competencies and experience related to Cable Jointing / HV Live Line would be beneficial Our employees enjoy real rewards and recognition including: • Working on impressive renewable energy projects across WA • Helping to create a connected and thriving WA • Working in small teams who are part of something bigger for WA • An extensive rewards and recognition program • Access to our award-winning health and wellbeing program Our workplace culture is created through every interaction, every experience and everything we do.
