With over a century of experience in the security sector and servicing multiple industries across Australia, this business has bought People2people on board to recruit for a People & Culture Business Partner. Due to growth and an upcoming surge of projects, the team are looking for a candidate who has experience building and fostering internal relationships and ER/IR experience.
Duties
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties –
• Provide expert advice to clients to develop awareness of P&C policies, to promote compliance and facilitate best practice outcomes and mitigate risk
• Identify and deliver P&C initiatives in partnership with other People teams to build performance that supports people and business objectives
• Assisting the P&C Manager with all people related queries and operational life cycle by promptly, accurately, and professionally responding to employee and management queries
• Assisting with and coordinating the recruitment and selection programs and processes for all appointments including the creation and posting of job ads, screening candidates, conducting phone/face to face interviews, conducting reference checks, and obtaining clearances (where required) and reporting the suitability of candidates
• Complying with the HSE Policy and applicable regulatory and company HSE rules and requirements
About You
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role
• Tertiary qualification in HR, IR, Psychology or Business-related discipline
• Demonstrated knowledge of human resource principles, policies, processes and employment legislation
• Comprehensive experience in fast-paced end to end recruitment with the ability to facilitate open days and drive bulk recruitment activities
• Natural ability towards learning new talent management systems and processes quickly
• Sound communication skills (both verbal and written) with an ability to present complex information simply, clearly and succinctly
