About the Role: Recently, we have seen significant growth of workers compensation claims made against our clients, who are experiencing poor claim outcomes because of a system that has quickly become overwhelmed. We are looking for a candidate with proactive mindset to assist our clients in getting the best business and financial outcomes for their Workers Compensation Claims. In this role you will: Lodge and manage new claims, including preparing letters requesting “reasonable excuses.” Consult with clients regarding claims strategy, suitable duties, and progress. Maintain contact with claims managers to obtain updates and propose solutions. Respond to factual investigators, providing key internal contacts and documentation. Collaborate with rehabilitation providers and stakeholders to improve claim outcomes. Provide advice and guidance on incapacity terminations. Monitor key dates such as Independent Medical Examinations (IME’s) and Independent Medical Consultations (IMC’s) scheduling and liaise with insurers for report follow-ups. Build and maintain relationships with panel lawyers and rehabilitation consultants. We operate a highly flexible team, with only one office day per week required (Western Sydney location). In addition, you may be trained to assist in our HR, Recruitment, and Workplace Relations functions such as: Resume screening, phone screening, and interview scheduling. Conducting reference checks, drafting contracts, and updating policies. Offering performance management advice and facilitating redundancy processes. Conducting salary benchmarking and other HR-related activities.
