The Harvey Norman Commercial Team are currently seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to join our Home Builders team based in Taren Point.
A Homebuilder Business Development Manager role is required to target the homebuilder market to promote all Harvey Norman Commercial Divisions. They must network with Homebuilder clients, provide excellent customer service with high level of communication and organisational skills. They will be required to work with the homebuilder team staff members & other Harvey Norman departments to achieve sales results within the team environment.
To be successful you must have:
Extensive experience and knowledge of the NSW Home Building industry
Strong communication skills
The ability to resolve issues effectively
Self-motivation
Intermediate computer skills
A commitment to teamwork
Personal and professional presentation
Your duties include, but are not limited to:
Develop new business opportunities across all divisions of Harvey Norman Commercial
Visit sites and customer premises to build and maintain relationships
Establish new accounts in collaboration with Harvey Norman sales representatives
Negotiate and create Homebuilder inclusions pricelists
Product selection & recommendation
Generate Quotations for clients
Conduct showroom appointments with builders
Create & maintain Homebuilder BDM data base
Liaise with suppliers
Attend product training with suppliers
Attend functions with customers & suppliers
Make regular visits to account customer premises
