Systems Administrator - EUC Focused - On-siteOur client is seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator with a focus on End User Computing (EUC). This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic IT department, managing and operating Data Centre & Cloud Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and troubleshooting of infrastructure solutions primarily built upon Microsoft computing services. This includes ensuring efficient and 'fit for purpose' builds, maintenance, patching and software updates.What you'll do: Provide high quality, reliable and responsive troubleshooting and support for infrastructure/software solutionsOversee the design, build, deployment & management of 'End User Computing' (EUC) devicesDevelop and maintain SOE capability for asset management, security, patch management, applications packaging and deployment, mobility device management, drivers and software updatesActively develop automation of tasks carried out by the team with zero touch tools and processesWork closely with IT Operations to manage, maintain and enhance core infrastructure supporting EUC servicesUndertake problem diagnoses, correction and escalated support of Microsoft and associated technologies across the organisationWhat you bring: At least 3 years' experience with IaaS, PaaS and SaaS cloud computing or emerging technologiesStrong understanding of SQL Server, Active Directory and other key server technologyWorking knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP, SDWAN & wide area network technologiesTertiary qualifications in Business, Technology or related discipline are desirableAbility to absorb complex information and communicate effectively at all levels to both technical and non-technical audiencesProactive and self-driven contributorExceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on rapport-building, listening and questioning skillsFluent English with excellent communication & presentation skillsAccountability for actions and decisions including technical, financial and quality aspectsWhat sets this company apart: Our client is a global leader in their field, known for their commitment to innovation, creativity and flexibility.
