Are you an experienced Support Engineer with a passion for RF systems? Our client, a globally renowned leader in critical communications technology, seeks a Technical Support Engineer with extensive experience in RF Systems to join their esteemed team, which has been around for more than half a century.
Key Responsibilities:
* Fault-Finding and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues across network and terminal components efficiently and accurately.
* Provision of Technical Information: Offer detailed guidance and support to customers, ensuring they understand system operations and best practices.
* Customer Report Generation: Produce clear and detailed reports outlining issues, resolutions, and system performance for clients.
* Component and Software Testing: Test and validate network components and software updates to maintain high system performance.
* ITIL-Aligned Incident and Problem Management: Use ITIL principles for organised and structured problem resolution.
* On-Call Support: Be available for scheduled on-call hours to provide critical technical assistance outside of regular business hours.
This role requires a strong background in Land Mobile Radio (LMR) technologies such as P25, DMR, conventional, trunking, and simulcast systems. Experience with LTE technologies is also beneficial. Knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) systems and concepts is advantageous. Familiarity with ITIL Service Management principles to ensure structured support processes is essential.
What You'll Bring:
