Job Description
Your new role
Under the support and direction of the Kapooka Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Training Lead, we are looking for an experienced instructor to help in the delivery and coordination of the robust training package as part of developing ab-initio trainees.
The position will see you primarily based out at Kapooka, Wagga Wagga NSW however, there will be opportunities and requirements to travel in support of other training events delivered by our other Sydney-based CBRND Training Team.
We are looking for a motivated, experienced and task driven individual who can bring that wealth of knowledge and training expertise not only to the trainees but our other Leidos Training Team members.
You will:
* Assist with the coordination and execution of LAND 2110 group-based training.
* Assist in the review, development and production of the approved Learning Management Package (LMPs) and associated course products when required.
* Maintain the physical baselines for training artefacts in support of the current courses.
* Assist in developing user Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for new software and hardware, lesson plans, hand-outs, reference sheets and functional, hands-on training exercises.
* Carry out inspections and operator level repair on the current CBRND equipment being delivered.
* Provide recommendations and improvements to delivery methods and techniques.
* Value add to the team and provide constructive feedback to assist in our own professional and continued development.
* Comply with relevant approved alcohol and drug testing policy for Safety Critical Area operations.
* Be prepared to travel from your Home base to provide important support to other training activities as part of the larger Training team within Australia.
This role requires the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and to be holding or be able to obtain an AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance.

Coupled with your education and practical experience, you will demonstrate a proactive approach with the ability to understand our mission, identify issues and foster strong relationships with our customer to achieve the company’s objectives.
You will also have:
* Great experiences in training delivery and development.
* Demonstrated experience with performance management and trainee mentorship.
* Demonstrated an ability to plan and execute individual specialist and small group collective training in Military or First Responder CBRND competencies.
* Demonstrated experience as an individual contributor and potential leader within a small team working across the training lifecycle.
Highly desirable:
* Demonstrated experiences in either the Military or First Responder organisations with operator or instructor level knowledge of CBRN operations.
* Qualifications or experience in training and assessment (Certificate IV or higher).
