About the role We are seeking a Team Leader, Learning for Life to lead and support a geographically dispersed team responsible for implementing our programs within the community. Reporting to the Regional Programs Manager and working alongside dedicated, energised, and passionate team members, you will: Lead, coach and mentor team members to drive and achieve continued success. Support the team to implement programs in accordance with guidelines, agreed processes and targets. Work with your team to develop and maintain strong working relationships with partner schools and relevant community agencies. Lead results by ensuring the team understands and applies The Smith Family outcomes framework and requirements that support program fidelity. Mange your direct reports including recruitment, induction, development plans and performance management. About you As well as passion for community, you will bring the following: Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience Demonstrated experience in people leadership and managing a dispersed team Demonstrated experience in supporting quality program implementation within the NFP sector Ability to lead discussions and work with stakeholders at various levels Outstanding communication skills and interpersonal skills Strong presentation and facilitation skills Experience working within a national organisation is advantageous Ability to travel within allocated community and a current drivers licence is essential Employees are at the centre of The Smith Family’s values and operations.
