The Position: Full TimeSalary commensurate with experience. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role is based in one of our key manufacturing facilities in the beautiful southern highlands (Mittagong) NSW. The Site Manager will oversee the people, process, place, quality and safety of the manufacturing facility. The Operations Site Manager will be required to bring technical understanding of good manufacturing process, combined with strong organisational skills and an engaging approach to team leadership to drive business KPI's. Demonstrating a wide understanding of operational functions including LEAN, safety and quality would also be beneficial. Key Responsibilities: Develop production plans to meet client and company expectations, on budget, on time, within human resource and other operational frameworks. Maintain and refine best practice systems and processes across the site, adhering to the Company Production System. Prioritize product and people safety on factory floors, controlling risks to employees, customers, and consumers. Maintain a balanced scorecard of KPIs, focussing on improvement in product quality, delivery, and financial returns. Responsible for adherence to all quality systems and act in compliance with all company policies including, but not limited to: Quality, Safety, Product Safety, Environmental, GMPs, and HACCP. Demonstrate excellent leadership skills and qualities to represent and implement the Company's Vision, Values and Organisational model with a view to enhancing culture, communication and value. Qualifications: 5+ years' experience leading and managing production within the food or supplement manufacturing industry. Skill and knowledge in ERP software utilisation and alignment with operations. Experience with production equipment and automation is advantageous. Excellent time management, planning, organisation, problem solving and analytical skills. Initiative, high energy, drive, and eagerness to contribute. Collaborative leader with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with high levels of attention to detail.
