We're seeking an exceptional Sr. Body Repair Trainer to join Tesla's Learning & Development team. As a key member of our team, you will design and deliver comprehensive training programs that drive safety, quality, and productivity excellence within our body repair team. Collaborating closely with leadership and HR, you will help define and build career pathways that foster growth and development for our body repair technicians. Additionally, you will establish and maintain our body repair apprentice programs across Australia and New Zealand and contribute to the development and implementation of certification training programs for our Tesla Approved Body Repair Network. Your expertise will play a critical role in shaping the skills and expertise of our body repair team, enabling us to deliver exceptional customer experiences and maintain our position as a leader in the industry.What You’ll DoDevelop and deliver training programs for body repair technicians, including workshop safety, painting, and panel beating.Travel across Australia and New Zealand to conduct training sessions, workshops, and assessments.Collaborate with leadership and HR to establish career pathways and support the growth and development of body repair apprentices.Set up and maintain our body repair apprentice programs in both Australia and New Zealand.Work with our Tesla Approved Body Repair Network to develop and implement certification training programs.Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with Tesla's safety and quality standards.Provide coaching and mentoring to body repair technicians to improve their skills and knowledge.Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in body repair technology and techniques.What You’ll Bring5+ years of experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on body repair and training.Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs for body repair technicians.Strong knowledge of workshop safety procedures and best practices.Experience with apprenticeship programs and career development.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technicians, leadership, and HR teams.Ability to travel regularly across Australia and New Zealand (up to 50% of the time).Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.Tesla is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
