The successful applicant will be comfortable working in a community and Hospital setting, including working directly with consumers and their families in home based, work and educational settings. They will carry a caseload and provide a range of strengths based, recovery orientated therapeutics interventions, whilst working within a multi-disciplinary team. What You'll be Doing As a senior clinician provide leadership, mentorship and supervision, to ensure the delivery of evidence-based, strengths focused, recovery orientated assessment and treatment within a multi-disciplinary team. Relevant qualifications as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Psychologist currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), or qualified Social Worker eligible for registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). Additional requirements apply for classifications Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 and Senior Psychologist: A Senior Psychologist must obtain a minimum of 9 years experience working as a Psychologist. Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years’ experience working in the clinical area of the employees specified post-graduate qualification, or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation. Demonstrated experience providing advanced evidence based, strengths focused, recovery orientated assessment and treatment for consumers of the mental health service. Demonstrated commitment to the philosophy and practice of consumer’s families and natural supports participating within the treatment process, as appropriate and in accordance with the NSW Mental Health Act 2007. Demonstrated skills in leadership and clinical supervision, within a multi-disciplinary treatment setting. Effective interpersonal skills, problem solving skills and personal resilience. Highly developed written and verbal communication skills and competence in the use of information technology systems. Demonstrated leadership in the planning, implementation and evaluation of local service delivery incorporating the quality improvement process. Ability to work independently and in consultation with the multidisciplinary team. Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment.
