Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Legal Secretary to join a high-performing General Insurance team in the firm's Sydney office. The role offers a varied workload, requiring strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Main Responsibilities
* Assisting fee earners with workflow management, including preparing WIP reports, pre-bills, and working with the finance team on monthly billing cycles.
* Drafting and amending legal correspondence and documents.
* Preparing briefs and assisting with monthly reporting processes.
* Providing support with overflow tasks and administrative needs.
Requirements
* 1-2 years of experience in a legal administration role.
* Proactive and professional approach to work.
* Completion of Higher School Certificate (or equivalent).
* Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
* High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Strong client service orientation and the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
* Technological proficiency to maximise efficiency in day-to-day tasks.
