Your New Role
As the Risk and Assurance Manager, you will:
Lead the development and implementation of an Enterprise Risk Management Strategy : Enhance risk management practices, integrate risk and strategic planning, improve controls and processes, and implement a program to communicate and embed contemporary risk management practices across the organisation. Oversee and coordinate the continual improvement of the organisation's risk management framework : This includes related policies, procedures, internal controls, and processes; enterprise risk monitoring and reporting, risk appetite, assurance maps, regulatory register, business continuity, internal audit, risk systems, and associated education and training. Identify, develop, and lead business improvement initiatives : Conduct investigations or special risk assurance reviews that enable and support risk management maturity, in light of contemporary risk practices. Provide expert risk management advice, analytics, and insights : Prepare and deliver written and verbal reports to key stakeholder groups, including the Audit and Risk Committee, Board, subsidiary Boards, and Global Executive team. Facilitate, communicate, and promote a positive risk culture : Engage with stakeholders through capability building programs, risk workshops, forums, and other internal engagements to foster a proactive approach to risk management. Develop and maintain a map of assurance activities : Commission or undertake internal audits as per the agreed internal audit plan, ensuring clear documentation and understanding of all assurance activities. Contribute to the development and ongoing implementation of an enterprise Business Continuity Plan : Create comprehensive BCPs that address all critical business functions, conduct regular testing and simulation exercises, and identify gaps and areas for improvement. Guide, support, and assure risk management for significant projects : Develop robust risk management plans tailored to each project's unique challenges, ensuring effective mitigation of risks.
