Reference: VG/1826892Occupation: Education and TrainingSalary Range: $95,102 - $107,905About the Department The department provides a wide range of learning and development support and services.It provides policy leadership, plans for the future of education in Victoria, and leads key cross-sector collaboration.The department plays an important system steward role by providing support, guidance, oversight, and assurance across early childhood and school education systems, as well as directly providing school education and 50 new early learning centres.Work Type Ongoing, Full-TimeAbout the Division The People Strategy and Operations (VPS) Division is responsible for managing HR operations and providing strategic support for both corporate staff and accommodation services.It oversees corporate environments, sustainability initiatives, payroll, recruitment, policy development, workplace relations, and workforce management.Operating under a values-based framework, the division prioritises meeting client needs and improving policies and processes to deliver on our corporate responsibilities.It is an exciting time to join the People Services branch, which manages payroll, people operations, talent acquisition, and HR services with the goal of attracting and retaining top talent while nurturing a culture of high performance and innovation.The branch is currently implementing a new innovative operating model to introduce more efficient work methods and enhance its service delivery to the business.About the Role Reporting to the Assistant Manager and working as one of four Recruitment Specialists, this role will work within a supportive and collaborative team environment across a range of portfolios within People Services Recruitment to enable the team to provide accurate and customer-focused service to clients.Our Recruitment Specialists are flexible HR professionals with responsibility for a variety of portfolios including position management, recruitment-focused project work, redeployment and mobility, investigation of complex recruitment matters, and assistance with influx business-as-usual work.This role's key portfolio will be facilitating redeployment and mobility, through:Case Management: Support and manage a portfolio of impacted employees through the matching and redeployment process; provide subject matter expertise on redeployment and mobility to peers and clients.Skills Analysis and Feedback: Evaluate employee skills, experience, and qualifications to identify potential role matches to internal and external positions; assist with providing coaching and critical feedback regarding applications and interview performance.Stakeholder Management: Work closely with peers, hiring managers, and other departments to identify suitable role opportunities and facilitate a smooth transition for redeployed staff.Reporting and Documentation: Maintain contemporaneous notes of interactions, progress, and outcomes, ensuring compliance with relevant policy and procedure;
