As APJ Business Planning Manager, you will be responsible for two major roles - Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Healthineers Performance System (HPS).
Your Role:
1. Demand Forecasting and Accuracy:
Develop zone-level demand forecasts for instruments, reagents, and consumables. Ensure proper process steps are executed across the zone, leveraging appropriate tools for inputs. Drive improvements in forecast accuracy across countries for all Lab Solutions product lines.
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with sales, marketing, CBS, and service teams to gather inputs and validate customer demand. Work with distributors and customers directly as needed.
3. Market Intelligence and Impact Assessment:
Gather market intelligence and customer insights from sales and marketing teams. Assess the impact of market changes or forecast variances and recommend revisions to forecast input when needed.
4. KPI Monitoring:
Monitor relevant KPIs, comparing actual shipment vs. country inputs. Prepare and distribute regular reports on key performance indicators, demand forecasts, and inventory levels.
5. Central Point of Contact:
Act as a single point of contact for the zone on all demand planning inputs. Ensure effective communication by setting up a clear Forecast Process RACI among various stakeholders within cross-functional teams to align on demand planning strategies.
6. Decision Support:
Facilitate and enable decision-making for Zone Business Lead and Zone Finance Lead on forecasting topics.
7. Risk Management & Communication:
Assess business exposures and potential risk scenarios. Provide consulting for demand planning insights to stakeholders. Help articulate and communicate demand uncertainties and risks. Develop options for optimizing inventory, replenishment, and demand plans to supply planning.
8. Collaborate with Global and Local Teams:
Collaborate with global and local teams to holistically improve the customer experience and satisfaction levels around supply. Qualify, support & coach commercial leaders on respective HPS methods and tools to foster a continuous improvement mindset and coordinate transition activities in the APJ LS Commercial organization.
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of working experience, including more than 5 years of experience with Lean Management, Business Systems, Consultancy, or Business Excellence. High experience in organizing and conducting improvement workshops, coaching, and supporting change management initiatives. Practical experience & expertise in Structured Problem Solving & one or more of the following methods: Value Stream Mapping, Agile Visual Management, Hoshin Kanri.
Proven minimum of 5+ years of experience in Integrated Business Planning in multi-national companies, preferably from the Healthcare industry. Exceptional communication skills & leadership experience in motivating and developing diverse teams across countries and functions. Expertise in statistical forecasting methods and advanced analytics. Experience with demand planning software (e.g., SAP APO, Oracle Demantra) and data analysis tools. Strong customer focus. Business fluent in English and any local languages within APJ zone. Active listener, and empathic. Inspire and lead without authority. Convinced and pro-active change driver. Passionate about learning HPS Core Methods. Results & quality oriented. Methodical & structured way of thinking. High analytic capability.
