Join us, and become part of a team where innovation, teamwork, and safety come first.About the roleAurenne Group Mining is currently seeking to employ a suitably qualified and experienced Light Vehicle Fitter to join the team at Mt Ida. The Light Vehicle Fitter is responsible for the efficient and effective maintenance and servicing of the LV fleet, this includes the field, workshop repairs and servicing. This is a fulltime, permanent position on a 2:1 roster, FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Kalgoorlie, immediate start. Your duties will include but not limited to:
Ensure the timely and effective completion of repairs and maintenance on Light Vehicles.
Ensure all work practices are conducted in a safe manner in line with relevant legislation and Aurenne policies.
Ensure work orders completed, maintenance history for plant and equipment is recorded, relevant records and reports are delivered to management.
Responsible for running and analysing diagnostic tests.
Responsible for performing preventative maintenance on equipment.
Ensure that inspection procedure checklists are completed.
Role Requirements:
Relevant Trade Certificate OR Degree or Diploma in mechanical or automotive engineering/Mechanical engineering certificate.
Western Australian C class manual Driver’s License (essential).
National Police Clearance.
Min 3 years post trade experience maintaining Light Vehicle Fleet in a mining setting.
Unrestricted Australian working rights.
A commitment to safety, do the JHA, take 5, follow procedures, SOP’s.
Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding ability, ideally with Toyota.
Motivated and willing to learn.
Contribute to pre-start meetings and job ‘what went wrong’ meetings.
Good communication skills and ability to work within a team.
Be able to communicate clearly and effectively on a two-way radio.
Complete and pass medical assessments and drug and alcohol screening.
