Our Group Risk team is responsible for setting the policy and standards for risk management at Coles, and partnering with and providing risk management advice to the business, to support delivery of our vision, strategy and values. About the role We have an exciting opportunity to join our Group Risk team as Governance and Reporting Manager, reporting into the Head of Group Risk. The primary objective of the role is to develop and drive transformation of risk management and governance programs across Coles Group. This role is accountable for: Maintenance and update of Coles risk management strategy, framework and related programs, policies and standards, including Coles critical infrastructure risk management program. Assessing and benchmarking the design and implementation of risk management practices and behaviours, to identify areas for improvement. Partnering with the business and other second line teams, to support implementation of risk management strategy, practices, and behaviours. Maintenance of the framework for review and update of Coles Group Policies, and management of Coles Conflict of Interest program. Facilitating and preparing risk and compliance reports for Coles Group Board, Audit and Risk Committee and Executive Leadership Team. Delivering risk and governance training and communications, and developing the risk management community, across Coles. About you and your skills • Proven enterprise or operational risk management experience with ASX listed companies.• Advanced skills in designing, developing and operationalising risk and governance practices and behaviours in business activities and processes.• Capability in preparing Board and Executive level reports; establishing reporting processes; and analysing, interpreting, and presenting complex information.• Experience with implementing technology solutions to support risk and governance practices.• Excellent leadership skills. Proven experience developing relationships, engaging regularly with a variety of stakeholders including senior managers, and chairing management-level steering committees.• Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and complete tasks/projects in a timely manner and to a high standard.• Tertiary degree in risk management, finance, economics, law, engineering or relevant discipline.
