From budget analysis and preparation to strategic networking, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to our directorate's goals and provide a consultancy and advisory service, and support to the Director AGFMA, Senior Leadership Team, and employees.The Business & Finance Manager monitors and develops frameworks for effective management of business and financial operations including the cost recovery and analysis of the participating Agencies financial commitment, ensuring alignment with statutory requirements, relevant legislation, and the Department's key outcomes. The role also extends to the functions under the Memorandum of Administrative Arrangements with participating agencies to ensure risks and financial governance are managed.In this role, you will ensure that high standards of governance relating to business systems and processes across the AGFMA are met. Within the Directorate this will include but is not limited to finance, procurement, business improvement, audit risk management and corporate reporting. The role will also coordinate responses relating to Corporate and Operational requests and will coordinate the necessary oversight functions and training. The role will also apply continuous quality improvements.The Business & Finance Manager is responsible for the efficient and effective management of finance functions within the Directorate, this includes providing analysis and support to the Director AGFMA, Senior Leadership Team, and employees.About YouWe're looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal and communication skills, advanced problem-solving abilities, and a discerning level of detail for audit and financial analysis with a strategic risk mindset.
