A career that matters and lasts. We are seeking an experienced General Manager, Energy & Digital Management to join the Operations & Services Delivery leadership team. This role will lead the strategy and delivery of our operational technology, telecommunications, and digital network services, enabling the business to be the best it can be.
About the Role:
This pivotal role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and leads a diverse team that supports a wide range of technical personnel. You will ensure the effectiveness of head-end cybersecurity measures and maintain high resilience and availability of operational networks in compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the strategy and delivery of operational technology, telecommunications, and digital network services
2. Maintain high resilience and availability of operational networks
3. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
4. Provide leadership and governance oversight for key initiatives
5. Serve as Program Sponsor for several critical projects
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* Degree level qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or Electrical Engineering, or a lesser qualification coupled with significant applied experience in this field
* Proven ability to balance commercial and technical outcomes to achieve fit-for-purpose solutions
* Ability to manage network events and make timely decisions in complex environments
* Experience in leading a team of highly proficient professionals
* Strong interpersonal skills, commercial acumen, and negotiation abilities
* Leader-level expertise in your field, with proven experience in delivering strategic management and leadership across company functions
