Job Description – Earth Moving Plant Operator About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and versatile Earth Moving Plant Operator to join our team.
This role involves the safe and efficient operation of heavy earthmoving and processing equipment.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting day-to-day services and maintenance, ensuring optimal productivity on various projects.
Key Responsibilities: Operate multiple types of heavy plant machinery safely and effectively.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including: servicing equipment, changing cutting edges, managing repairs..
Participate in labouring duties as needed to support project requirements.
Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of plant equipment.
Work collaboratively in a team setting while also being capable of working independently in remote locations.
Conduct safety checks, maintain equipment, and promptly report any faults to management.
Skills and Qualifications: Valid licenses and certifications to operate relevant equipments.
A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in similar roles, with references required.
Successful completion of medical and police clearance checks.
Exceptional attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
