Registered and Clinical Psychologist - Private Practice Awakened Psychology in South Windsor NSW has an opportunity for an experienced registered or clinical psychologist to complement our established private psychology practice in either a full-time or part-time position, or on a contractor basis.Awakened Psychology values its staff and provides an aesthetically pleasing working environment, equipped with new resources and custom-designed facilities, with a focus on professional development and ongoing learning, to provide the best possible working conditions for staff, as well as a comfortable working environment for the clients we provide services to.We pride ourselves on providing the highest quality, comprehensive, and supportive service provision to a large range of clients and we are looking for a registered psychologist to join our friendly and passionate team.Awakened Psychology predominantly provides individual therapy to referred clients; however, we also have a dedicated large group therapy room to run group programs that complement the individual therapy we provide.These services currently include running the Westmead Feelings Program 2, Basecamp Anxiety Management Children's Group, and the Best of Friends Social Skills Group.Main Responsibilities: Provision of high-quality behavioural observation, clinical and psychometric assessments under a variety of programs to support medical diagnostic decisions and inform psychological treatment.Provision of evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, families, and small groups with varied presentations across the lifespan.Report-writing to relevant stakeholders and file documentation.Case conferencing with GPs, allied health, schools, case managers, and other stakeholders.Our clients are all ages (3 years +) with a diverse range of presenting issues including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, eating disorders, personality disorders, family and relationship matters, ADHD, autism, intellectual disability, specific learning disorders, and much more.Minimum Requirements: Full registration with AHPRA Excellent organisational and time management skills Ability to work independently Attention to detail Knowledge, skill, and experience in assessment Knowledge and skill in delivering psychological intervention using differing therapeutic orientations and frameworks Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills Warm, friendly personality Commitment and value on ongoing professional learning and development Excellent computer skills (proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs, ability to utilise computer/laptop, willing to learn and use Halaxy Appointment and Billing System) Membership of the APS, AAPi, or associated professional body Requirement for child-based caseload (ages 3 and above) Postgraduate qualifications in psychology Work Cover/SIRA registration PTS provider registration Victims of Crime provider registration Training in EMDR, ACT, IPT, CBT, CPT, schema frameworks Experience working with children and adolescents Experience running group programs Remuneration for the position is dependent on skills, experience, and qualifications (average range $80 K-$130 K); however, generous packages are available which include the provision of 1 hour of supervision per month, access to an Employee Assistance Program, and a $1000 annual professional development allowance in addition to base pay + superannuation.Please provide a copy of your resume and a cover letter addressing essential and desirable criteria.#J-18808-Ljbffr
