About the Role: We are looking for a skilled Specialist – OT Priority Support to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring the stability, efficiency, and reliability of Whitehaven’s Operational Technology Systems. Reporting into the Superintendent - OT Networks & Mining Systems this role is responsible for real-time monitoring, diagnosing, and troubleshooting of networks and operational systems supporting our continuous mining and processing operations. You will achieve this by maintaining seamless communication between our sites, remote operating centre and technology teams whilst ensuring Whitehaven’s Operational Technology operates at maximum performance with minimal disruption. This is a Brisbane based position working a 7on/7off rotating day night roster. What you will do: Provide remote technical monitoring, support and routine checks for OT systems including fixed and wireless networks (Wi-Fi / LTE), autonomous haulage & fleet management systems, SCADA, access control, CCTV, ancillary systems & core infrastructure. Manage and support operational technology solutions, systems and devices throughout their operational lifecycle. Optimise or implement improvements to OT systems to deliver reliability, performance, and efficiency. Develop relevant technology health reports to assist operations with monitoring and decision making. Proactively identify and resolve issues before impacting mining or processing operations. Compile root cause analysis reporting for technology incidents and problems. What you will bring: Bachelor’s degree in Technology or relevant OT experience in a mining environment. Demonstrated experience working with wireless network data transmission within a mining or industrial environment. Cisco CCNA/CCNP, ITIL, or other technology related qualifications and certifications. Experience with wireless network design and maintenance.In-depth knowledge of device and configuration management. Exposure to Autonomous Haulage Systems or Remote Operations Centres.
