About your role:
Support the development and maintenance of healthy caregiver-child attachment and positively support caregivers to enhance the trajectory of their child's psychosocial development in a multidisciplinary team environment.
This position will require the incumbent to travel or work from other facilities across the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service as required.
Undertaking family assessments of the complex needs of children and their caregivers in the areas of maternal/paternal mood, supporting development and attainment of secure attachment between infant and caregiver, caregiver support with regard child behaviour (focus on early intervention).
