About the Role
Service Stream’s Telecommunications division are seeking energetic and experienced Field Supervisor’s to work on our Service Excellence contract. Nature of Position: Permanent, Full-Time
Location: Brisbane Area
Reporting Line: Field Supervisor
Reporting directly to the Field Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing direction and supervision of subcontractors, and internal work crews to ensure all field work activity is conducted at each site in a safe and effective manner.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide Leadership and direction to assist techs and IWF safely achieve project delivery KPI’s and meet customer expectations
2. Provide Subject Matter Expertise in the construction/maintenance of NBN networks
3. Providing detailed knowledge and support to the FSM to plan and execute all requirements for the client
4. Liaise closely with NBN field staff and/or middle management - attend meetings, site inspections etc
5. Possess a high level of organisation skills to achieve production targets. Be effective with time management and be able to prioritise critical issues
6. Possess suitable negotiation and communication skills to ensure diplomatic resolution of work based and stakeholder issues
7. Demonstrable commercial acumen and understanding of commercial processes
8. Allocate Supervision resources to meet program requirements
9. Ensure all SLAs/OLAs/KPIs are met
About You:
10. Previous working experience in Telecommunications Network Construction environment leading NBN and Telstra field operations
11. Possesses an expert knowledge for the delivery and maintenance of large-scale construction
12. Understands materials/component identification and supply chain flows across all technologies
13. Ability in resolving day-to-day operational issues and solving technical problems with a high degree
14. Has autonomy and independent judgement, and key working relationships with the client’s regional teams
