The role is based in Brisbane; however, frequent travel to other MQ-28 Program sites will be required. This role will suit experienced EHS professionals looking to take on leadership and planning responsibilities.The MQ-28 Execution Lead is responsible for supporting the tactical implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of the Boeing EHS Management System within the MQ-28 program and will oversee the development, planning, and implementation of environmental health and safety programs and processes for the new MQ-28 manufacturing facility being constructed at Wellcamp, ensuring regulatory compliance and the maintenance of a safe and healthy work environment.ResponsibilitiesSupporting the implementation of EHS policies, procedures and processes across the MQ-28 programDeveloping and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners and team membersCoordinating EHS execution plans at program/business unit levelProviding technical oversight and coordination of technical approaches, products and processes and provide technical expertise to team members on complex EHS mattersConducting education and training to support regulatory and business requirements for the MQ-28 ProgramProviding input to EHS team members' professional development and performance management and appraisal and assisting the EHS Operations Manager with recruitment and resource forecastingEvaluating the impact and providing advice on new regulations and the likely impact to enterprise operationsReporting on all aspects of EHS performance to relevant stakeholders including the customer, MQ-28 program leadership and the EHS Operations ManagerQualifications and ExperienceEssentialTertiary qualification in Health, Safety and Environment with at least 10 years of EHS experience in an operational environment or an equivalent combination of education and experienceDemonstrated ability to perform with minimal direction and the ability to exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignmentThorough knowledge of Australian WHS and Environmental laws, regulations and reporting requirementsDemonstrated knowledge and application of the ISO 14001 and 45001 standardsStrong time management skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet target dates in a very fast-paced environmentDemonstrated experience working within a highly regulated environmentAbility to meet Defence Security and ITAR requirementsDesirableWorking knowledge or familiarity with Defence/Aerospace IndustryExperience working in complex manufacturing or high hazard facilitiesBenefitsFlexible working optionsStudy assistanceSalary packagingEmployee Incentive ProgramGlobal opportunitiesWe are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
