The Role We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and senior Marketing Manager to be part of a top-tier Australian Law firm, in the Client and Market Growth (CMG), Brand and Marketing team. Reporting to the Director Brand and Marketing, the Senior Marketing Manager role leads a team and is responsible for the strategy, planning, orchestration and management of marketing campaigns for the firm across a range of client engagement channels. The role provides strategic Brand and Marketing advice through identifying and anticipating client needs profitably, delivering the creation and activation of profiling, lead generation and client expansion activities. This role is open to Sydney and Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available. In this role you will have the opportunity to: Lead a team to develop marketing and go-to-market strategies, planning and delivery of strategic, tactical, always-on programs and business as usual activity. Work with the leads and executives across Brand, Industry and Lines of Business portfolios, relevant stakeholders across the firm to develop marketing campaigns - set objectives and ROI goals, design and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns. Activity will support awareness, attraction and lead generation, relationship development and growth objectives – brand, client and revenue. Lead campaign strategy, planning and delivery of brand-marketing and go-to-market activity – from annual to quarterly planning, set the plan and priorities alongside key colleagues in CMG. Manage the Brand and Marketing calendar. Be a lead contributor to the Brand and Marketing accountabilities and operating rhythm set by the Director of Brand and Marketing – strategy, planning, execution and evaluation. Lead the operations and management of the 'idea-to-value' model, including post implementation review and ROI analysis for priority marketing campaigns and initiatives. Improve the delivery model and processes to ensure best-practice and operationally efficiency. Play a lead role in managing existing sponsorships and partnerships for the firm. More About You The preferred candidate is a leader, with the experience to innovate and lead change, a strategic thinker, expertise with implementation and attention to detail to manage operational delivery. They are a motivated self-starter, curious, outcome focused, with a desire to deliver best-practice marketing. The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge, skills and experience: Tertiary qualification in brand, marketing or suitable relevant experience. At least 3 years of experience in management or leadership role. At least 7 years Marketing experience in marketing related roles, with a B2B segment focus. Prior experience in the legal industry is preferred. Experience in B2C is an added bonus. Multi-channel B2B marketing expertise - tactical activity, programs and strategic initiatives. Able to develop strategy, manage and optimise campaigns. Experience in establishing and maintaining marketing operations and processes. Commercial - manage budgets, data-led thinker, performance and return on investment mindset. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal – able to adapt to the audience. Confidence in communicating with executive leaders. Highly developed interpersonal and influencing skills, including the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of internal and external clients. Ability to motivate, clearly communicate with and manage staff. Highly organised, able to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines, with excellent attention to detail. Sound knowledge, intermediate-advanced user of the following software: AI tools, Microsoft suite of products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams), Collaboration tools, workflow and project management.
