A rewarding opportunity for an experienced Property Manager to lead a long-established, family-owned sheep and cattle operation near Yass, NSW. This role is suited to an experienced and motivated professional with strong livestock, pasture management, and leadership skills.
About the Property Narrangullen is a 6,520-hectare livestock enterprise located on the Wee Jasper Road, 40km from Yass and about 60km northwest of Canberra. Narrangullen boasts a diverse landscape of highly productive open valleys and rugged hill country, supporting an annualised stocking rate of 30,000 DSE. The operation includes:
Sheep Enterprise: 5300 Merino ewes and 1600 Primeline ewes.Cattle Enterprise: 600 Angus cows, with an on-farm bull breeding program.Pasture & Grazing Cropping: Annual improvement program (150-200 hectares)About the Role As the Property Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations and long-term strategic direction of the farm, ensuring productivity, sustainability, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
