Role Overview: The General Manager will be responsible for maintaining the quality of the company’s operations while driving growth through strategic initiatives. The focus is on increasing revenue by developing new business, capitalizing on market opportunities, and introducing innovative products and strategies. The role requires a hands-on approach, strong leadership, and collaboration with existing senior staff to ensure seamless operations and continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management: Lead and oversee all departments, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and values. The GM will need to be a visible presence throughout the organization, engaging with staff and ensuring operational continuity.
Strategic Growth: Develop and implement growth strategies focused on revenue enhancement. Identify and pursue new market opportunities, and introduce new products that align with the company’s core values and market needs.
Operational Oversight: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across the business. Manage budgets, optimize resource allocation, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Customer Service: Maintain the company’s customer-first approach, ensuring that it continues to provide personalized service and complete solutions that meet client needs.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with senior leaders within the company. The GM will be expected to foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and mutual respect.
Technical & Industry Expertise: Leverage a background in manufacturing, ideally with experience in mechanical products, and be comfortable working in a factory or manufacturing environment.
Key Qualifications:
Industry Experience: Several years’ experience in a similar industry (automotive, trucking, trailers, vehicle accessories), with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
Leadership & Strategic Management: Proven track record of successful leadership, particularly in driving growth through strategic initiatives.
Operational Excellence: Strong operational management skills with the ability to oversee complex manufacturing processes and logistics.
Customer-Centric Approach: Demonstrated ability to maintain and enhance customer relationships, with a focus on delivering high-quality service and solutions.
Collaboration & Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders and staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
