Our Southwest Regional Offices are looking for a motivated candidate who is interested in providing excellent customer service for the WA regional community. You will be working with a fantastic team in a fast-paced customer focused environment delivering a wide range of services across the region. We are seeking positive, adaptable and customer focussed individuals to join our team as Senior Regional Officers. This unique opportunity will involve you interacting with a wide range of customers and stakeholders on the full range of transport related enquiries. This is a varied and exciting role in which no two days are the same. You will provide education and ensure compliance in respect of maritime and boating safety. In addition to the marine elements of this role, your focus will also be community engagement and ensuring education, compliance, and safety in the On-demand Transport industry. You will therefore be required to undertake travel throughout the Southwest region to present at schools and clubs on safety, conduct vessel checks and undertake safety inspections. This position is all about delivering excellent customer service and ensuring the WA community has safe and reliable transport services. To succeed in this role, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to negotiate and problem solve. Your adaptability and flexibility, as well as your ability to work with minimal supervision, will be an asset to the team. There is currently 1 permanent position available for immediate filling. The successful applicant or applicants assessed as suitable through this process may receive further offers of employment (fixed term or permanent) in this or similar roles for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of first appointment. To undertake this position, you are required to hold: A current, valid Western Australian 'C' class driving licence. A Coxswain Grade 2 Near Coastal or near completion. A current National Police Clearance certificate incorporating criminal and traffic convictions and infringements. About you Deliver high-quality customer focussed service.
