About the Faculty of Health Sciences:
The Faculty of Health Sciences comprises three schools: Allied Health; Behavioural and Health Sciences; Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedicine. There are currently approximately 14,000 students (EFTSL) and 530 (FTE) staff in the faculty under the disciplines: occupational therapy, speech pathology, social work, exercise science, exercise physiology, nutrition science, biomedical science, nursing, midwifery, paramedicine, physiotherapy, psychology and public health. All students have professional and clinical experience that is supervised by specially qualified practitioners. Catholic hospitals and other public, private and specialty organisations, as well as schools and the health and sports industry are involved with preparing for promoting and offering this valued and essential experience. About Placement Services:
Placement Services is a specialist unit within the Office of the Associate Dean Learning, Teaching and Professional Experience in the Faculty of Health Sciences. The unit is dedicated to ensuring that every student in the faculty has access to appropriate, sustainable and high-quality professional practice placements. Placement Services works collaboratively to support internal and external stakeholders with high-level customer service to enable seamless placement administration and student placement experiences.
About the role:
Operating within Placement Services, as Team Leader, Placement Services, you will provide leadership, coordinate administrative operations and the day to day business of faculty clinical/ professional placements at the North Sydney campus. This requires supervising clinical administrative staff, coordinating activities undertaken by clinical administrative staff and providing hands-on support where necessary. This position will also be responsible for a designated activity within the faculty-wide clinical administration portfolio, which may comprise InPlace (student placement software), standard policy and procedures, or clinical placement agreements.

What we offer:

* Total remuneration valued to $117,590 - $127,214 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $99,365 - $107,498 (pro rata) pa (HEW 7), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. A 3% salary increase will be effective from the beginning of the first full pay period commencing on or after 1st January 2025.
* 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
* Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
