As a Manager in our Financial Services team your impact will be seen by: Developing relationships with a range of market-leading clients in industries such as Banking & Capital Markets, Insurance, Asset Management and Real Estate. Delivering outstanding client service by identifying and solving problems, providing advice and addressing queries and concerns; Leading and developing an energetic, diverse and high-performing team; Developing your own project management, leadership, networking and technical skills, supported by a dedicated Coach, and Partner. About you You have a background in External Audit where you have supervised engagements for a portfolio of clients and are skilled in statutory reporting. You will have an understanding of both Australian Accounting Standards (AASB) and overseas accounting standards such as UK, US GAAP and IFRS. You’re passionate about providing advice to clients on issues faced in relation to reporting and address client requests for assistance on a timely basis. Sound knowledge of accounting and audit principles and have the ability to work with clients to solve their financial reporting issues A proven ability to engage and influence clients, and to build and maintain strong relationships Experience in budget completion and ability to challenge budgets as required Involvement in quality reviews An understanding of commercial issues facing business and apply that understanding to your work The ability to support your group with business development activity with new and existing clients Proven ability to lead and inspire teams with experience in performance review Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and meticulous attention to detail Commitment to the ongoing development and expansion of technical knowledge.
