As our organization continues to grow within the LVMH group, we now have a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced accountant to join a team of 6 About the Opportunity In this role you will support the finance function by completing the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements (both local and statutory) and assisting with all finance and business initiatives. Your role Ownership of fixed asset register both accounting and tax, including accurately booking of fixed assets and depreciation Ownership of IFRS16 Lease Accounting, including tax and group reporting requirements for IFRS16 Payroll journals and accruals for both Australia and Zealand – review and post journals for fortnightly and monthly pay runs, commission accruals, PAYG, annual leave and LSL accruals and reconciliations Prepare monthly reconciliations for selected balance sheet accounts mainly Fixed Assets, IFRS16, payroll and AP Prepare relevant month end journal entries including other overhead accruals Complete head office reporting requirements and prepare various management reporting schedules Monthly BAS returns for Australia and NZ GST return every second month Assist with all other statutory filings as required – financial statements, income tax return, fringe benefit tax return, ABS reports and transfer pricing report Assist with the profit planning/budgeting process as required Supporting other accounting functions as required Ideal candidate Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent 3-5 years accounting experience (Big 4 or mid-tier public accounting company experience audit and retail/FMCG industry background preferred) Fixed Assets experience preferably with exposure to large fixed assets Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and key accounting concepts Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel Experience with JDE, Hyperion or other ERP systems Organized, analytical, problem solver with good communication skills Ability to prioritize and function amidst tight deadlines and changing priorities Flexible during reporting periods Why Tiffany?
