Roles Overview We are seeking an experienced and proactive Office Manager to oversee our administrative operations and support our expanding community services.
This permanent role is vital for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while managing a largely volunteer-based team within a non-profit framework.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties from resource procurement to volunteer coordination, financial administrative support, and compliance management.
Key Responsibilities Administrative Management: Oversee all office administrative functions and maintain accurate records and databases.
Resource Coordination: Procure, organise, and maintain necessary resources and supplies.
Communications: Manage all incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, mail, and telephone enquiries.
Event & Program Coordination: Arrange and manage appointments, meetings, and church/non-profit events.
Financial Support: Assist in financial management activities, including donation tracking, expense reporting, and support grant applications and acquittals.
Volunteer Management: Coordinate volunteer schedules and maintain effective communication with the volunteer team.
Facility Oversight: Liaise with relevant parties to ensure facilities and equipment are well maintained.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, including ongoing ACNC registration and other compliance requirements.
Leadership Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the leadership team.
Community Outreach: Assist in coordinating community outreach programs to further our mission of service and support.
Essential Criteria Proven experience in office management, ideally within a non-profit or community service organisation Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Familiarity with financial administrative processes, grant management, and compliance reporting.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a volunteer team and diverse community stakeholders.
