As the Executive Manager, Business Controls & Monitoring, you will support Cash & Transaction Banking (CTB) in the governance and reporting of risk management. Reporting to the Head of Business Controls & Monitoring, Cash & Transactional Banking, you will play a key role in leading the team to continue to manage risk appropriately across the Business, including delivering a strong and mature risk culture and support the teams to manage their control environment in accordance with policies, risk strategy, regulatory obligations, and risk appetite of the Group while delivering great customer outcomes. You will be a seasoned Executive Manager with a stellar Governance and Reporting background. Some of the key accountabilities are: Support the Line of Business (LOB) in the identification, assessment and monitoring of risks. Review, manage and report on the LOB Risk Appetite Statement and Key Indicators. Assess and monitor risk culture and maturity for CTB, including development of action plans across the LOB. Manage all aspects of the CTB Risk Committee; agenda, paper development and collation, terms of reference, paper distribution, and secretarial activities. Development of papers for the Divisional Risk Committees, including compiling data and preparation of speaker notes for the Managing Director. Risk reporting for the LOB, including Tableau dashboard development. Analysis of risk data including deep dives and root cause analysis to identify insights for better risk outcomes. Lead and drive risk programs across the LOB (e.g. data risk, privacy risk, records management). Design and delivery of risk maturity uplift & risk awareness training. Conduct risk activities in line with policy requirements including conflicts of interest reviews, leading emerging risk workshops and reporting on conduct risk. Contribution to the design, uplift and testing of controls. Contribute to the development and maintenance of risk framework, policy and standards; ensure appropriate communication and dissemination of all framework requirements across the LOB. What do I need? 10+ years operational risk experience in banking or other financial services environment. 7+ years leading teams of risk managers. Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to demonstrate long term relationship building skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to present to senior levels.
