About the role:
Extended Care Assistants work as part of a multi-disciplinary team of passionate and committed aged care professionals. We work together by providing personalised support to deliver the best possible care and services to residents to meet their individual needs and preferences.
We are seeking Expressions of Interest only for Extended Care Assistants to work at one of our Hobart sites:
* Strathaven in Rosetta
* Strathglen in Berriedale
* Queenborough Rise in Sandy Bay
* Ningana in Sorell
* Lillian Martin in Mornington
The role entails the capabilities of but not limited to:
* Assisting residents with daily living and mobility duties such as showering, feeding and toileting to enhance daily life
* Building and maintaining supportive relationships with residents, clients and their families to strengthen relationships within the business and local community
* Recognising changes in clients conditions and report observations and concerns
About you:

* Hold a current Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
* Are known for your caring and compassionate nature
* Have the initiative and ability to work without supervision
* Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions

* A current Working With Vulnerable People card
