About This RoleOn behalf of our client, a major producer of natural gas, supplying both domestic and international markets, we're seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator to implement and oversee quality processes on a major Oil and Gas project.This is a hands-on role focused on driving quality excellence, contractor oversight, and continuous improvement. Implement the Project Quality Plan within the assigned scope of work Provide training to key project staff on quality processes Develop and manage Surveillance Plans, ensuring effective execution Report quality issues, metrics, and lessons learned to Project Management Lead efforts to resolve quality issues and improve activities Act as the Procurement Quality Coordinator (PQC) or Site Quality Coordinator (SQC) until roles are assigned Key Tasks: Promote Quality awareness across the project team Ensure proper control processes are in place as per the Project Plan Oversee contractor quality programs by: Approving contractor's QA organization and key staff Reviewing and approving contractor's Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) Participating in subcontractor/supplier qualification Monitoring contractor's surveillance and audit programs Conduct and coordinate project and site audits Assist in selecting Site Quality Coordinators (SQC) and inspectors Support and manage Procurement and Construction Surveillance Programs Review quality metrics and assist in resolving issues Contribute to site close-out reports and lessons learned RequirementsRequirements: Proven experience in quality assurance/control for construction and completions Experience in Quality Management roles for Oil and Gas projects Strong auditing experience of quality management systems Bachelor or Associate degree in Engineering or Science (preferred) Relevant technical discipline certifications based on experience Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required BenefitsAbout Brunel:Brunel is a recruitment and flexible workforce solution provider which connects talented people with opportunities throughout Australasia and around the world.
