This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early career professionals to learn about best-practice project development principles from some of the best in the industry.Reporting to the Head of Development and collaborating close with an agile team of capable and experienced industry professionals, you will support site finding and assessments, landholder engagement, feasibility analysis, GIS, and general project coordination work streams. About the RoleDay-to-day responsibilities will include: Planning and coordinating site prospecting activities, including identifying, assessing and securing projects and sites across Australia; Coordinating development activities across land, planning, environment, engineering, design, grid, delivery, procurement, commercial, operations, offtake and finance for select projects; Plan and monitor development activities for allocated projects through schedule, budget, plans and reports. Engaging with key stakeholders including landholders, indigenous groups, community, government, regulators, agencies and contractors. Preparing and present project information and reports to internal and external stakeholders; Working with the broader team to optimise project economics and business cases; Assist in the assessment of project acquisition opportunities from time to time; Traveling to project site with team members as required. About YouTo be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and experience: Degree-level qualifications (or equivalent) in engineering, planning, project management, commerce, business, or agriculture (required); Experience in data analysis, modelling, GIS, or project management (preferred); Understanding of renewable energy and storage technologies (preferred); Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Avid learner with an interest in learning from experienced colleagues and acquiring new responsibilities as the business grows; Adaptable and flexible approach to work with strong problem solving,negotiation, and time management skills; Exposure to agriculture, farming, land agreements or community engagement (beneficial); Experience in renewable energy generation (advantageous).
