As a Quality Engineer, you will be based in Clayton, Victoria, and report to the Quality Assurance Manager. You will support quality functions in operations and drive quality improvement plans to improve efficiency and lower costs for all the plants.ResponsibilitiesAdminister Quality Management System in manufacturing.Develop quality standards and procedures for the Plant.Support the FLM and Process Engineer with process improvements from several aspects that include but are not limited to Quality, Productivity in Manufacturing, Testing, SAP, MES, 5S, EHSMS, etc.Aid to set up databases, ETQ, and SharePoint sites in line with ISO9001.Conduct and participate in RCAs attributable to defective batches.Support operators as required to resolve problems or clarification during manufacturing, testing, and filling processes.Oversee the calibration, service, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment. Ensure equipment is calibrated and functioning correctly.Troubleshooting QC Testing issues and providing technical guidance to the QC testers to ensure production flow continues.Investigate all defective and passed-out specification batches, facilitate Root Cause Analysis, and ensure corrective actions are implemented to prevent reoccurrence.Manage and effect improvements on key KPIs. Supervise production batches when required.Monitor and report key KPIs.Carry out the review for New Products/Process Change in the relevant systems, i.e., SAP, MES, QMS.Work to reduce manufacturing costs through enhancement of key KPIs (RFT, RST, No of Moves).Assist in the Review of processes to optimize production requirements and reduce waste.Conduct Yield, Cycle time, and Productivity analysis.
