With 176 rooms, our resort features award winning facilities and service offerings including the Noosa Beach House Restaurant & Bar, the Cabanas poolside experience, Riviera Bar & Lounge - the only cocktail bar overlooking the Noosa River - plus extensive conference & events facilities and our luxury Aqua Day Spa.Job DescriptionPermanent full-time position38 hours per weekSalary $73,150 to $77,515 per year plus superannuationBased in Noosa Heads, QLDWe are looking for a self-motivated, English speaking, articulate person to fill the role of Front Office Duty Manager within our company.Your RoleManagement of the Hotel Front Office operation to achieve a reputation as a market leaderEffective supervision of all guest arrivals and departures, ensuring that room allocations and check in/check out processes follow set procedures and are customer focused (including Concierge and lobby table service)May provide guests with local tourism information, and arrange tours and transportationDaily liaison with the Reservations office to ensure accuracy in room allocation and maximising yieldFull utilisation of the Front Office system, ensuring accuracy in use and a range of accurate reports are produced to meet operational needsRegular liaison with Maintenance ensuring maintenance requests are completed quickly, focusing on guest needs as a priorityAssist the operation of the night audit function in conjunction with the Financial Controller. Accuracy of this daily function being paramount while maintaining customer focusAssisting in preparation of Front Office monthly reportsEnsure public areas are clean and well presented with regular monitoringAssessing and reviewing customer satisfactionInduct new staff into the team, department and Hotel in the first week of their employment following guidelines.
