Everybody knows a JJ's Truck when they see one. .. our iconic green and gold fleet head out rain or shine for collections in your area.
We do more than collect the bin from your street, we also convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet in-house and have our own bespoke technology systems.
About this Role
We are seeking a reliable, experienced Administration Assistant to support our operations in Cairns and surrounding local regions.
You will have the ability to learn quickly and demonstrate a willingness to undertake any task at hand. Have excellent problem-solving and time management skills, plus demonstrate high-level customer service proficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the highest standards of customer service are met by effectively managing customer queries via telephone and emails in a timely manner.
* Establish and manage relationships with drivers, team members, customers, and local authorities.
* Answer inbound queries from customers, residents, and Council Representatives.
* Investigation and resolution of queries pertaining to disputed services.
* Processing of documentation accurately, efficiently, and within required timeframe.
* Plan and schedule work in order to comply with KPI requirements.
* Work across multiple IT platforms using JJ's and Council databases.
* Assist with the day-to-day duties of Administration and Operations functions.
* Other duties as requested.

* Experience in transport, logistics, or service industry - highly regarded but not essential.
