They are seeking a motivated and hardworking Quality Assurance Assistant to enhance their team.Responsibilities: Verifying pre-operational tasks such as calibration, sanitation, cleaning, product quality, and other QC checks.Ensuring product quality aligns with company and customer specifications.Collaborating with packaging setters and team members to maintain cleanliness in production areas and uphold plant hygiene standards.Conducting inductions and training for new QC and packaging staff on food quality, safety standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ensuring compliance with company policies.Overseeing daily production document controls and managing production history and related documentation.Reviewing and finalizing the daily release of finished products.Managing daily traceability and maintaining supplier documentation.Conducting GMP audits and internal audits with the QA Manager, amending documentation as directed.Assisting with external audits and internal pest control monitoring.Resolving non-conformance issues raised by QC and Shift Supervisors.Monitoring and managing complaints.Identifying data trends for efficiency and generating reports.Assisting in product development and actively contributing to the improvement and implementation of quality standards.Performing ad hoc duties as directed by the QA Manager.Health, Safety, and Environment: Promote and uphold HSE policies and procedures in the workplace.Address and implement corrective measures for identified HSE shortcomings.Qualifications and Skills: The ideal candidate will be assertive in taking ownership of the role and possess exceptional attention to detail. They should demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, effective time management skills, and analytical thinking. Excellent communication skills are essential, enabling them to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
