The Company An established non-bank lending business that has had rapid growth in the Australian market over the last few years, this organisation is owned by a large global, Private Equity firm and are projected to be a market leader in the next 5 years The Role As part of the credit risk function, the Senior Credit Risk Analyst will have the opportunity to support and help manage the commercial risk portfolio. Your key responsibilities include, but will not be limited to: - Provide in-depth analysis on trends and gaps on the overall portfolio of commercial assets. - Deliver on key metrics and commentary on trends and insights to leadership team - Supporting the improvement of underwriting processes for new and existing customers. - Monitor effectiveness of the credit risk rating tools. - Drive portfolio performance within the risk appetite. - Provide SME input on ongoing system improvements to enhance user experience. - Provide advisory support to the Executive Risk Committees. Your Profile This role will suit a strong Credit Risk professional with experience working in the analytics space across wholesale or commercial credit as well as: - Tertiary Qualifications in Accounting, Finance etc. (or related field). - 4 year's of relevant credit risk analytics experience, preferably within commercial/asset finance - Analytics toolkit (Power BI, SQL etc) preferred - Effective business partnering and the ability to drive portfolio performance and improvements through effective communication, analysis and collaboration is key to this role. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
