The role reports to the Operations Coordinator and involves maintaining and repairing Sunwater's electrical assets, as well as assisting with operational requirements of the scheme.
Key responsibilities include:
* Participate in the delivery of the non-routine electrical works programme, manage electrical contractors and complete any other task or activity as required
* Identify, analyse and resolve operational/technical problems and troubleshooting tasks to restore systems and equipment to an operational state
* Prioritise work, meet deadlines and work effectively within a multi-disciplined team environment
You will bring:
* Strong analytical and technical skills to analyse situations and provide appropriate solutions in a heavy industrial environment
* Previous experience with Instrumentation, PLC systems, SCADA, solar and communication systems
* The ability to think innovatively and adaptively to resolve complex issues, ensure the management of project risks and achieve project objectives
* A Queensland electrical work licence (dual trade qualifications would be highly regarded)
* High voltage switching qualifications or the ability to obtain Class C drivers licence for a manual vehicle
* Confined space certificate or ability to obtain Working at heights and elevating work platforms or the ability to obtain
