About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Retail Manager to join our team and oversee the efficient operation of our store. This role requires a hands-on leader with a proven ability to manage retail operations, drive sales, and provide exceptional customer experiences. Key Responsibilities: Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies for the store while training staff on products, service delivery, and sales techniques. Preparing and analysing financial reports, including monthly and quarterly summaries, to identify market trends, set budgets, and plan for profitability. Collaborating with the marketing team to determine seasonal stock ranges and highlight popular, "on-trend" tile and flooring products. Managing stock levels efficiently by monitoring inventory and coordinating the ordering process for tiles and flooring products. Advising customers on product selection, providing quality assurance, and offering tailored quotes to meet their needs. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and local traders to foster loyalty and drive repeat business. Setting product pricing based on market analysis and sales targets to maximize profitability. Overseeing the recruitment, training, and supervision of sales staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards. Ensuring the store complies with occupational health and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for staff and customers. Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar retail management role within the same industry is a bonus. Strong understanding of retail operations, stock control, and customer service standards. Proven ability to lead and train staff effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
